Thank you for contacting the Electrical Safety Authority.

If you are interested in pursuing employment with the Electrical Safety Authority (ESA), please complete the ESA Application for Employment Form (attached) identifying the position(s) and geographic area(s) of the province in which you are interested.

Please send the completed ESA Application for Employment Form, along with your resume and cover letter, via email to employment@electricalsafety.on.ca or via fax to (905) 712-7845.

Additionally, if you are interested in an Electrical Inspector position, you must provide proof that you hold a current Certificate of Qualification as a Construction Maintenance Electrician (309A or 309D licence) and 7 years experience in all types of electrical installations (residential, agricultural, commercial, industrial). This proof must include your current licence number in full, date of issue and expiry date.

There is a good likelihood that external candidates will be hired into Electrical Inspector positions in the Metro area during the next year.
